Our rowing leadership camps can take you to the next level

Our rowing camps distinguish you from your peers because we teach our athletes to coach themselves. They learn to analyze their own performance, self-correct, and understand their
relationship with pressure and progress. These aren’t abstract concepts - they’re practical skills that change how athletes train and compete long after they leave camp.
We’ve designed everything about our teen rowing camps around this goal.
What sets us apart? Our daily small group reflections (about 12 athletes) where they articulate what’s working, what isn’t, and why. This is where athletes learn to think like coaches about their own development. We staff every camp with two separate teams - coaching and operations - so coaches can focus entirely on athlete development while ops handles everything else. Our coaches are carefully chosen and well-trained. They know when to challenge, when to support, and how to create an environment where athletes feel safe doing hard introspective work.
We run these programs in places like Japan, Italy, and New Zealand because the setting matters.
When athletes step out of their normal environment, they’re more open to changing how they think about performance. The structure is rigorous - training is serious - but the culture is built to support growth, not just extraction.
The outcome is confidence that sticks. Athletes who can stay engaged when progress is slow because they know how to diagnose and adjust. Who handle setbacks without losing themselves because they understand performance is a process, not just results. Who keep improving on their own because they’ve learned how.
For our admissions-based programs, we run a thorough process to build teams that can do this kind of work together.
We’d love to connect with you to talk about Sparks - our daily structure, coaching approach, and admissions process - and help you figure out if it’s the right fit for your athlete.
