Camp Payments & Travel Protection

We provide full refunds minus transaction fees for our winter camps prior to November 1st and our summer camps prior to March 1.

In the unlikely case a camp does not proceed, we’ll work to notify you by March 1. You’ll be offered a different program or refund. We recommend buying your flight after March 1.

By accepting a slot at Sparks, you have accepted a limited space within a small group. Once that space is reserved, we are no longer able to offer it to others and book expenses on a total group basis. Due to the seasonal nature of our programs and our investment in staffing, planning, food, and equipment before a camp we have a strict refund policy.

If you withdraw from camp (notice must be made in writing) after the above dates, there are no refunds for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to: voluntary withdrawal, illness or injury, summer school, security concerns, or any other reason. If your camper leaves camp after it starts, there are no refunds for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to: voluntary withdrawal, illness or injury, dismissal by Sparks (due to discipline, behavior, lack of fitness or motivation, etc.) security concerns, or any other reason. Any costs incurred by Sparks as a result of an early departure are the sole responsibility of the parents.

Deposits & Balances for Multi-Week Camps

Multi-week camps with admissions processes require a $895 deposit to begin your application.

  • If you're not accepted, you'll receive your full $895 deposit back.
  • Your pricing is locked when you deposit. Complete your application and interview within 30 days to maintain this rate. After 30 days, your balance will reflect the current price tier if accepted. If you withdraw or are not accepted after 30 days, you'll receive $395 back until March 1.
  • If accepted, $395 of your deposit remains refundable if you withdraw before March 1. Withdrawals after March 1 are non-refundable.
  • Registrations are non-transferrable.
  • Balances are due March 1 via ACH or wire transfer. We accept credit cards, though transaction fees apply.
  • For applications after March 1, full payment is due within 14 days of acceptance.

Travel Protection Plans*

As camp payments to Sparks become non-refundable on November 1st for winter camps and March 1st for summer camps, we strongly recommend all Sparks camp families purchase a travel protection plan.

We offer these plans from Travel Insured International during the check-out process for our four and five day camps and during final balance payment for deposit-based multi-week camps.

Unfortunately camp families who do not have a US address are not eligible for travel protection under the our plans, but may refer to Trawick International for travel protection.

Coxswain eLearning & College Counseling Payments

Coxswain eLearning payments carry a seven day money back satisfaction guarantee. Cancellation must be made in writing.

Monthly college counseling subscription payments are eligible for a full refund up to three business days after the transaction. Subscription rollover hours cannot be refunded.
